THE L Word - Season 6 FINAL Premiere Event

Sunday, January 18, 2009
The Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, recently unveiled its latest t-shirt for the summer season designed by Christian Siriano, winner of Project Runway, season seven. Exclusively designed for HRC, the t-shirt is now available online and in HRC Shops nationwide in support of GLBT equality. The 100% organic cotton shirt, features a hand-drawn design of the “Super Hero” character, named “Fierce Equality.” The design is also signed by Siriano.
What's important to us locally is that Orlando had the opportunity to be involved in one of the most important fashion events of the year. In an exclusive photo shoot by renowned Orlando/New York-based rockstar photographer Brook Pifer, the Human Rights Campaign captured on film designer Christian Siriano and a bevy of local models. The models included Paul Anderson and Shaun McCarron from the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, and local Human Rights Campaign members sporting for the first time ever the newest HRC benefit t-shirt and other new items from HRC's fashion line. Christian Siriano and Orlando HRC members will be featured in a nationwide ad campaign, at the three HRC Shops (in DC, Provincetown and San Francisco) and on the HRC web site.
"I'm proud to work with the Human Rights Campaign to raise awareness and
funds to help the GLBT community in its fight for equality," said
Christian Siriano, winner of Project Runway, season four. "The shirt
is fierce, fabulous and flawless."
The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against GLBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
